Colouration
Lepitsunes have a wide range of colours and markings, and events in a lepitsune's life can shape and impact their coat. For example, a lepitsune deeply moved by the sight of fireworks may develop markings resembling a spray of sparks. A lepitsune affected by the sadness of wishes they grant may grow gradually dull and blue.
There are no real restrictions to a lepitsune's colouration- the only ones being that their coat can't be a single solid colour with no markings, nor can they be completely greyscale.

Stardust Colour
A lepitsune's stardust colour refers to the natural colour of the stardust their bodies are made up of. At night, themselves or any shed stardust glow faintly in that colour. It can be seen in the shared colour of its eartufts, tail tuft and eyes, and is commonly a solid colour or a simple gradient of the same hue. The only restricted colours are black/white/greyscale.
A gradient of two colours is uncommon, and multiple colours are possible but rare.
